The Deer House can be booked for residential or day visits by youth groups only. Please visit our day visits - indoor page for more information on short term bookings.

Our Deer House is situated on the main site and is ideal for weekends away or for longer stays. The building is laid out across three levels and unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible. The Deer House is generally booked for sole occupancy by each group.

The building can sleep up to 24 people across three rooms with bunk beds. The main dormitory sleeps 14, the middle room sleeps 6 and the smaller room sleeps 4. In addition, up to 4 camp beds can be set up in the activity room.

There is a fully equipped catering kitchen with range cooker, microwave, under-the-counter fridge and freezer and a hot water boiler.

There are 3 toilet cubicles within the main toilet facilities on the basement level, plus a further toilet on the top floor.

There is a shower cubicle within the main toilet facilities, and a second on the top floor.

Our activity room has plenty of space for your activities during the day as well as relaxing in the evenings. There are tables and chairs available as well as comfy chairs and a built-in projector and screen.

The site has a car park with enough space for drop off/collection.

prices & booking conditions
Prices vary depending on whether your group is from Girlguiding Gloucestershire, another youth group or non-profit, or from another organisation. Please check the most up to date fees on the prices page. The minimum hire period is for 2 nights.
You can view the availability of your chosen accommodation online and request a booking via our Hallmaster booking system.
For indoor residential bookings, standard arrival times are after 4pm and departure should be before 4pm. Groups booking beyond these times will be charged the hourly rate for the additional time booked.
All groups staying overnight at Deer Park must have DBS checks in place for the adults in the group.
