Our gas barbeque can be hired for use on the main site and the Nancie Bradshaw site.

Catering tent with equipment
Includes:
- A heavy-weight canvas ridge tent
- 2-ring gas stove (groups to provide their own propane gas cylinder)
- Selection of dixies and billies, cooking utensils, food bowls, trays, water containers, jugs, washing up bowls, chopping boards, grater, measuring jug, frying pans.
Tents
We have a range of tents available to hire in various sizes and to suit the majority of needs. These include:
- Catering tent/shelter
- Fire shelter
- Various tents (sleeping between 4 and 9)
- First aid tent (ridge tent) - includes table and chair
Activity equipment
Girlguiding groups within the county can hire these items for off-site use.

Chime bars and hand bells
We have in the county two sets of chime bars with beaters, and two sets of hand bells, 26 of each (so can cater for quite a large group). These are very user friendly and there are some charts of Guiding songs with notes corresponding to the both the bells and chimes. Suitable for all ages and abilities - no musical experience needed for either the session leader or those taking part, just a sense of rhythm.

Indoor Curling
This adapted version of the game uses rubber curling stones with bearings, making it a great game to play indoors.
The set includes pushers and slopes for accessible game play. |

Arrows set
Arrows is a mini version of archery aimed at Rainbows and Brownies, or other younger visitors. It consists of a system of bows and arrows with suckers on the end with a choice of two target faces. Children learn the skills for archery with manageable goals and outcomes. Fun and games for all ages.
This activity can take place outdoors or indoors. |
