the great egg trail
An Easter eggs-travaganza for everyone to enjoy
Families and units - Join in the fun
We are excited to announce that the Great Egg Trail will take place on Saturday, 19th April 2025! This event is raising funds to support the development of the Nancie Bradshaw site and wood and is open to everyone.
Come and enjoy the Nancie Bradshaw wood as you hunt for clues to solve the riddle that will earn participating children a small Easter egg and a badge. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout - this could be a parent/carer, or a leader with a unit group. The event lasts for an hour, with limited spaces in each of the 6 time slots, starting on the hour, every hour from 10am until 3pm. Visitors should arrive promptly for their booked start time and you will need to collect all the clues by the end of the time slot to ensure the next group can get started on time. Note: The trail is outdoors in a beautiful natural space. The paths are covered in bark chips but can be muddy in areas so please wear appropriate footwear (eg walking boots or wellies) and clothing suitable for the weather. The route is NOT pushchair friendly. |
Units and young members - Design an egg
To make this event extra special, we are inviting our young Girlguiding members to design the Easter eggs that will be used in the hunt.
Design the eggs using the templates provided in the Files Section Once completed, email your designs to [email protected] by 31st March 2025. Please use the template provided below. Deadline: All eggs need to be emailed to the team by 31 March 2025. |
